Welcome to Potion Brewing! In this game, you will use google to find potion ingredients in order to complete a potion. You will be given traits of the ingredient, and you will have 20 minutes per ingredient to find the answer. If you find both of them, you pass, and get to remove the sleigh and one set of Christmas lights! 🎄

What sites can I use?
You can use most standard sites. Generative AI, such as ChatGPT, is not allowed. If you have questions about whether a site is allowed or not, feel free to ask.

How will the timing work?
You will be given 20 minutes for each ingredient. You can do both ingredients in one sitting, or you can do the two separately, including on separate days. You have until the end of the event to finish the game. Timing can be arranged with me through dms. 🍬

It’s time to announce the winners of this game! After looking at the overall results, it was clear that the game was too difficult for most to beat in the winning time period. Therefore, to make it more realistic, and as a nod the the effort and commitment of those who refused to give up, users who correctly answered both questions will be counted as winning this game, regardless of whether they finished within the time given. And one final thing, I’ve had a couple users express interest in doing more of these. As it stands, I do have a third one that was not used, and now that I know I won’t need it for this game, I can give that one to any users who are interested in doing it one more. It won’t be for a prize, but rather just for fun. If anyone is interested, feel free to reach out to me. It won’t need to be timed of course, so it can be done over a longer time rather than a strict time limit.
