exactly lmao, though it isn't limited to soloists. in the og "trying to escape video" from 2019 it's yeonjung, who was with her group wjsn, who tried to escape first


honestly as a multi this whole video is pure chaos. yeonjung tries to leave, but realises she cannot, so she stays back. taemin sees yeonjung trying to leave, then leaves himself. realises midway that he can't leave yet, so tries to dance it off - but fails. all while hwasa stands awkwardly to the side, desperately wanting to leave but not doing to. all this to the 10th music show win of seventeen's home. to this day:

• ujungs still have no idea what prompted yeonjung to want to leave early, or how she realised she had to stay on
• shawols still have no idea why taemin didn't see yeonjung back off, now why he thought dancing it off would be a good idea
