I have done Spotify Wrapped since 2017. My music taste has definitely changed since then (and so has my personality honestly)
2017: Pretended to like rap to fit in during high school.
2018; Kpop makes it’s redebut. Obsession with Post Malone.
2019: Ringa Linga, specifically the live version… why?
2020: Super M, Set It Off, Yungblud… wow I really had taste that year.
2021: Call me when you want… but don’t ask me to make music recommendations. Also 2024 is when I finally got Permission to Dance out of my number one song of ALL TIME. Three years it took me… wow!
2022: We Don’t Talk about Bruno… NO we don’t talk about 2022
2023: The year we avoided Whopper Whopper from reaching the Top5 (it was number 6). Also Baila Conmigo was released only a moth before Spotify Wrapped was released so that says a lot about how frequently I listened to it.
The past couple of years my number one song has been one that I hyperfixated on. I listened to them so many times in a short period of time. Lets hope this year goes better
