There was a time in gymnastics where we were doing testing, both of basic skills and harder skills, to see where we could improve. For both floor and beam we had to do a regular split leap with a 180 degree split in the air. The only difference is that on floor you’re on the floor, and on the beam you’re on a 4 inch/10cm wide beam that’s a bit over 4 ft/125 cm off the ground. Obviously it’s easier to do it on floor, but that day, I only succeeded hitting the full 180 degree split on the beam

This is literally what I was about to say. I just finished watching 9 seasons of a show but movies are extremely hard to sit through nowadays

There’s something so entrancing about terrible and absurd tv shows

there really is... like not even in a "so bad it's good" kinda way but in a way that the curiosity rises with every episode because you just wonder what kind of unhinged shit they're going to do next. now that i think about it, being a writer for such things is such a dream job because any random thought you get in your head can be brought to life and you get paid for it

at least in your case i hope the show was good tbh i agree, especially as i tend to love longer movies AND watching them in theaters so to find 3 hours in a day to watch a movie at the specified time they play it is definitely not as easy as the thing that i actually do which is letting some trash from cable tv play in the background and then getting weirdly invested in whatever's going on in that series
