Honestly I've been mentally preparing myself in case WW III happens in 2025 since NK fights alongside Russia in Ukraine
The fact that Nordics are building bunkers and giving away pamphlets, and it was said in begin 2024 that "Europeans should start to get used again to the idea of war" says enough

I like the part where they specified that he accepted the request of the National Assembly. The wording just make it sound like he had the option to refuse, but I was under the impression that he couldn’t do that unless he becomes a dictator or something, since they have a law about not being able to refuse or whatever

Yeah he can't refuse, it would be against the law since the assembly can overthrow his decision by majority of vote. Which happened 190 out of 300 against it. THIS PART OF THE LAW was especially made in case presidents abused the martial law!!! If he refused he would've been probably impeached and forced to resign. Honestly idk what happens after this?

Yeah, especially since there were only 190 votes total out of 300 members, and they all voted against him. I don’t know much about Korean politics but I can’t see him being president for much longer with all this stuff happening, especially considering he wasn’t overwhelmingly elected to begin with. I’m guessing he either gets impeached, as the tweet suggested, or he steps down before that.

It seems that Putin wants to conquer as many Ukrainian territories as possible until Trump's inauguration. According to some newspapers Trump could plan to freeze the conflict to force peace negotiations.
