Sharing bit of info about Crunchyrolls Anime Awards of this year. For my knowledge for international fans it's is pretty much only notable anime awards that i-fans can vote in and this is third year it's being held. Please tell me if there is more awards like this i-fans can participate in since I find it pretty interesting to see what is popular and liked in the anime community.

Categories and judges announced: 17th December
Voting starts: 11th January
Voting ends: 18th January

First year was pretty much dominated by Yuri on Ice!! and second year My Hero Academia, somewhat since both have huge active fandoms and Crunchyroll thought it'd be good to nominate same shows in dozen categories (not best call in anime awards nor kpop awards really, but will they ever learn). So we will see how it will go this year, hopefully it's not just My Hero Academia dominating everything this year too

No surprise about Yuri on Ice, it was indeed an outstanding anime and it really has a lot of fans, including me. I don't know that much about awards in the anime industry but this one seems interesting.

Yea I voted for YOI a lot too.. but they did bit of mistake of putting it on almost all categories other animes and their fans didn't stand any chance This sadly resulted into many disminishing the awards and being mad at YOI though, even bashing it : / , so for that reason I hope Crunchyroll thinks a bit before making nominations like which ones are best for what categories and that one anime no matter how popular doesn't need to be more than in couple categories.

I'm not quite sure what to vote yet actually, cause they again but quite same animes to many categories, but I haven't watched most of those that Crunchyroll seems worthy I guess xd

Megalobox, got most nominations, 8, but I haven't even heard of that one before. Violet Evergarden, Devilman crybaby, Zombieland saga and Aggretsuko got lot of nominations too in different categories, but I have only seen Aggretsuko from those :P

In other hand at least it doesn't seem like one anime will necessarily dominate, which is nice change. Poor My Hero Academia just got 4 dominations this year, but it's for the best really ^^;
