Thinking of it because of the stupid "pie adblocker" ad preventing me from watching YouTube.

If you did, how did it turn out?

I've bought Boba Tea Protein, a protein powder that's supposed to taste like boba tea drinks. I like it quite a bit. It's easier to drink when you don't mind it.

I've also purchased Loop Earplugs, based on a YouTuber I follow who reviews events and her mentioning that she always wears them to protect her hearing. I was able to get them on sale, and legit one of the best purchases. They make being in noisy places so much more enjoyable.

Of course, I looked up reviews and such before buying them too, but it's worked out well enough for me.

Both of those sound cool! And have reasonably good odds to be worth it.

I feel like clothes generally be more hit or miss, though considering the prices for those, you should have had better odds at getting something decent. Sorry it didn't work out for you. :(

SAME. As soon as someone says "I got it on Temu" I'm like . Congrats, you supported abusive labor practices and almost certainly got something tainted with hazardous chemicals, but it only cost $1.29!

I extra side-eye people who complain about the quality, and it's like... what made you think you were getting something GOOD for those prices?

I didn't hear about Loop from an ad (I scoured Amazon to find them) but they are no-joke the best purchase I have ever made.

My neighbours are incredibly noisy (they have loud parties that go on to around 3am) and I was losing my godamn mind until I bought them especially when I had to be up for work at 5am,
I've tried so many different earplugs as well. Including really expensive Seinheisser ones. I was even considering those special made-to-measure ones that are moulded to your inner ear that cost hundreds, that's how desperate I was. I also used to work in a factory where I had to wear earplugs for the duration of my 12+ hour shifts. They were all torturous. Loop? Comfortable, super quiet, durable, reasonably priced. I'm so grateful they exist.

I'm so glad they worked out for you!! I had the same experience with other earplugs: they just never seemed to nail all the aspects, so I was pleasantly surprised at how Loop can be comfortable to wear AND do what they say they do.

EXACTLY like i get it, some people are poor but most of the shit on temu is something you literally do not need in your life unless you love throwing things away after 3 days. same with shein... fast fashion has really rotten people's brains because there is no way anyone thinks those tacky ass polyester clothes are worth wasting your money on.
