There wasn’t always an interview for UOTM, it is a “new” addition, starting in 2022.

We would like to take a moment and speak to our December UOTM recipient from @Pirioca

1. How did it feel to be selected as User of the Month? Did you ever expect you would be given the title?

It came totally unexpected. Usually when I post songs and MVs, I'm most active in our 'Japan' and 'Planet Earth' section, so I'm not even a typical KS member. My first thought was: "Other members are much more active in the on-topic sections. Why me?" Thank you very much for that (early) Christmas present!

2. How did you come to join KS? Is this your first K-Pop forum?

Well, my first K-Pop forum was ... somewhere out there lol. I was there for about a week and then quite a few members migrated to KS. I was one of them thanks to @Myth.

3. Could you tell us something that most people here don't know about you?

In my early youth I started collecting cloud dragon photos (not the photoshopped ones, of course). My dad worked as a journalist and professional photographer. He gave me one of his older (but very good) cameras and showed me how I could photograph clouds. I started with typical clouds, but then I got interested in clouds that look like dragons. Over a few years I took about 150 pictures of cloud dragons. I gifted the photo album to my brother when I lost interest. AFAIK he still has it.

4. Do you have any other interests outside of K-Pop?

Untortunately too many. Apart from listening to other music genres and searching for new interesting artists, I like playing computer games, reading books (mostly about nature, alternative medicine, and paranormal topics), watching movies, working out and hiking. I've started learning about music production and song mixing recently. It's a pity that a day has just 24 hours.

5. What superpower would you like to have?

The power to stretch time. My day needs more than 24 hours!

Our first UOTM is quite active and users say they are a pleasure to talk with in threads. They notice your enthusiasm for your hobbies and groups you love. Congratulations to @snsd2beg for becoming January’s User of the Month!
