There's something alienating about the Nov-Feb phase of K-pop. I usually find the new year quite dull in terms of kpop quality, the only release I've been listening to regularly is Crvt's new single but that's because I'm heavily biased and tend to enjoy whatever they put out anyways.

I'm saying all this with Xlov's debut in mind. This is a very unwarrented opinion but I can't believe out of any bg release that is getting attention from 'stantwt' part of the kpop fandom it's that song. I can't be the only one who finds it grating and annoying.

At the end of the day the world keeps turning though. I'll keep listening to whatever K-pop puts out and cross my fingers that I like it

It feels so dull to watch groups that have amazing music quality don't gain cultural success and end up quietly seperating when there are songs out there that I do question, hitting top spots on charts and all around being on trend. I understand popularity isn't everything and the idols have (usually) worked hard to get where they are now, but god damn I hope some music producers get a reality check

I hope golcha knows the amount of people that smiled to their music. I don't want them to have 'disbanded' on a quiet and lowkey terrible ending. I have a friend who always cries to the burn it music video. Their music and artistry has been THAT powerful

Thinking about it onf could've easily been broken up if WM deemed them unprofitable, especially in 2020. I'm proud they have stuck around. I can't see the group being disbanded on the company's terms, I can see them going out with a BANG!

that being said, say if I'd be able to complete the whole common and rare decks sometime either by late this year or early or mid next year, then after completing both of those whole decks, i dont think i plan on continuing to collect cards from the korean decks after any new batches drop by then cause that would mean 99.5% of that would consist of all the new groups that i ain't even interested in giving a listen to and/or being a fan of AAAAND because theres already too many cards from those decks to collect long term even if it lasts for years

may as well just be collecting cards from...either the supervillain/heroes deck or the international deck and stop collecting cards from the korean decks when that time comes since the size of both those decks are much smaller
