Character Intro:

Hey! This is yet another Genshin Impact fanfiction featuring my favourites, where my fave hobby and fave characters collide! Ice skater boys ⛸❄

All characters belong to Genshin Impact!

Here's just a basic intro to our mains and what their personalities are like in this fic so enjoy reading!!

1. Scaramouche

bio: The mean girl, the competitive divo. A bit mean at first but he's actually very likeable if you get to know him. He has trouble expressing his feelings so he's not really fond of communication. the only thing he seems to enjoy is music and ice skating. the rest of the boys don't know him very well, other than the fact that he's totally not romantic and has a thing for sharpening dull skates on his own. Eyeliner god. He's friends with Kazuha originally but not really because Scara dated Kazuha's sister once but she cheated on him so now he has trust issues and Kazuha reminds him a lot of his pain. Intense rivalry with Xiao.

nickname: Kuni, Scara, Mouchie (only from Venti)

age: 21 years old (human)

personality: 🙄(will make a raspberry face and/or will flip the bird if necessary)

sexuality: well...nobody actually knows. He seems aromantic but he has outwardly commented about his fascination with star figure skater and coach Mona Megistus, so straight then? but him and kazuha sort of skirt around the fact that they like each other. Bisexual? I think we'll sum it up to bisexual.

~ Bisexual (means that you are attracted to both males and females. do some reading, dammit)

fave colour: hasn't commented, but wears a lot of 💙. presuming that's his colour? fine! usually on the ice, in his costume, he wears princess things like an undershirt bodysuit with long pale blue evening princess gloves (so cute imo 🥰) and darker 💙 frillies on his necktie. very demure with 🤍/❤/💙 pants, depending on the mood.



2. Venti

bio: that one friend. happy and charming with a knack for alcohol, this little twinkie is just so perfect! sometimes wears his hair out like the image above. he loves all the little things about his friends, especially Xiao, his best friend. Him and Xiao met in college with a love for the same hobby, which they took a bit further into a potential career. A big fan of Coach Jean Gunnhildr and star figure skater Eula Lawrence. Apart from being on the ice, he absolutely loves producing his own music and shares it sometimes if he thinks it's good. Doesn't get enough rest very often and he's usually busy with Xiao or making new compositions. Acts childlike, which resulted in people not being fond of him very much (😢)

nickname: Ven, usually likes being called Venti by Xiao though (we do not know the reason why 👉👈)

age: 21 years old (human)

personality: 😆(will hug someone randomly or give them a kiss on the cheek)

sexuality: def pansexual..

~ pansexual as far as the eye can see...(pansexual means that you are attracted to anyone of any gender identity or sexuality depending on their personality, READ!ㄟ( ▔, ▔ )ㄏ)

fave colour: azure. ALL HAIL AZURE!! but he usually wears 💚 or 💛 on the ice in costume. He wears an open-chested bodysuit that has a draping coattail fashion at his butt and tight 🖤 pants to match along with 🤍 skates. 😆

3. Xiao

bio: a quiet and usually timid skating student. Learned under his Master Xianyun and soon progressed to a great level on his own by practice. His only true friend is Venti yet they're polar opposites. He has great rivalry with Scaramouche and proceeds to train to claim first place in all of Teyvat for the Men's College Figure Skating Championship, or the MCSC for short. Is very competitive and this man will literally KISS ASS to win. Secretly enjoys spending time with Venti, even though he would never admit it. He likes alone time as well, and he shows off sometimes when he's mastered a trick. Does not take crap from anyone, not even his master Xianyun.

nickname: Xiaoie (from Kazuha), Xiao-chan (from Heizou, Xiao actually hates this name) Xiao-off (from Venti. "haha, g-get it, like show-off?")

age: 20 (AND A HALF! THE HALF STILL MATTERS!) years old (human)

personality: 🤨🙂 (the type that needs to get to know you before he actually enjoys your presence)

sexuality: demisexual and pansexual

~ demisexual (if you don't know, demisexual is when you require to have an emotional connection to somebody before you have a sexual desire for them)

~ pansexual (attracted to people of all gender identities and sexualities, based on their personality)

fave colour: 🤍 and 💚. it's his preferred costume on the ice. Long lacy frills on his arms and a 🤍 bodysuit snug to his skin. his pants are 🖤/💜, depending on his mood.

4. Kazuha

bio: a cute guy, no I'M NOT EVEN JOKING. this one has all the boys and girls and toaster ovens falling for him with his easy tone, cute expressions, and catchy enthusiasm. his face is visually stunning to the point where he's the broadcast's favourite. life of the party, lots of people are fantasizing about him, everyone except for the performers at the MCSC (or so we think....👉👈) Naturally friends with Kuni after he begun dating his younger sister, Kaedehara Mizuha (OC), but they broke up after Mizuha cheated on Kuni, leaving him dwelling in his pain and now he sees Kazuha as Mizuha a lot of the time. However, it didn't affect their friendship too badly so they still hang out time to time. Trying to grow a friendship with Xiao.

nickname: kazu, kaz, zuha, zuzu, zu, maple leaf, MCSC's shining star.

age: 21 years old (human)

personality: 🍁‼‼‼💥🤗(loves his leaves and is very loving to the MCSC boys)

sexuality: bi-questioning

~ bi-questioning: you think you're bisexual but you don't know yet...

fave colour: 🩷! this cutie dresses in 🤍/❤ from time to time but his costumes are regularly 🩷 for showiness! his costume consists of a tight turtleneck bodysuit that's usually ❤ or 🤍and 🩷. Lots of fancy glitter on his bodysuit as well as a very suiting pair of 🖤/🤍/❤leggings!

5. Heizou

bio: the cutesy in the MCSC, another favourite by the broadcast. With a flirtatious smile and delicious visuals, Heizou constantly delivers rich, authentic performances to his audience, doing the most insane floor leans, triple axels, and insanely hard spins that only the best can truly master. Loves to SHOWOFF to his friend Kazuha and doesn't spend much time practicing, granted he's already "made to perfection". Aside from skating, he loves mystery novels, makeup, and manga/manhwa. He reads lots of interesting funfacts and amuses his friends with them a lot. Kuni's not a big fan of him because Kuni's just jealous but he and Venti become fast friends instantly. Always the shining star, cannot be topped. His favourite idol is the illustrious Kamisato twins, who are both successful figure skating champions, they even won the ice skating event at the Teyvat Olypmics once 🤗

age: 22 years old (human)

personality: 😏🥰 (loves everyone but is super flirty it makes MCSC uncomfortable)

sexuality: doesn't rlly know..

~ Questioning (doesn't really understand himself romantically yet because of no experience. he just likes to flirt)

fave colour: ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤! all his stage outfits are ❤/🤍/🩵and he loves them all! his usual costume is ❤billowing yukata-shirt with lacy gloves and 🖤/🤍leggings.

CHAPTER 1: ! Kuni @ChiaraNextDoor @Suncatcher_Starz @Bara_Gisladottir


As soon as my blade hit the ice, I felt free.

I outstretched my arms, the fabric of my loose shirt billowing in the air. I pumped my navy-covered legs and glided across the recently smoothed ice, the clack-clack-clack similar to that of heels. I let my realities disappear, I let myself live in the moment. I slowly spun around thrice, kicking out my leg behind me in a theatric pump twist.

Immediately, my calves ached from my fault—I didn't stretch again. My bad. But I had to stay on top.

The sun wasn't up yet, but I was. Sprinting across the Zambonied ice, I surrendered my body into the air for a single axel, landing in perfection and solitude, how I preferred. With the Championships coming up, I couldn't slack off anymore. This was my time to shine.

I lived for this: to show the world my bright colours, to spread my wings, and to enjoy the icy breeze, the ice underneath my blades, the iron making slim incisions in the synthetic ice rink, tracing my strides in a beautiful, harmonious record. I lashed out my forearms in an obscene gesture and then recoiled, tracing my hands down my abdomen tenaciously in a somewhat suggestive manner. It was a part of my choreography to do these things, so I stuck with it.

My coach was Ms. Nahida. Nahida was a formidable mentor and she was rare. Granted her height, background, and appearance, she didn't even look like she was from Teyvat when we met. She used to be a trainee, just like me, but soon progressed fast. She declined a full-time figure skating career and only wanted to teach others.

And I was her lucky patron.

I arched my back and bent my knees, sliding backward until my head was near touching the floor. My indigo, ear-length bangs fell back on my head as I stared at the high ceiling above me, arcing my arms over my head and twisting my skate forward to stop and glide back up elegantly.

I twisted and arched and flipped until I was tired. The ice was still smooth. I strode over to my gym bag and got out my water bottle, which I squeezed into my open mouth. Then I pulled out my phone and checked my texts.

Nothing.

There was always nothing.

I shut my eyes and reopened them. In front of me was another guy my height, with dark, medium-length hair with teal undertones. His face was round and soft-looking and his eyes were golden-flecked avions. He was wearing precise, bold red eyeliner like myself and a bit of blush on his cheeks that I couldn't tell if it was artificial or not. I did not startle.

"You're indeed quite talented." He spoke. He sounded and looked emo with a slight rasp to his voice. "Tch," I turned away. 'I didn't need to hear it come out of your mouth for me to know."

The guy looked at me. "You're one of those, huh?"

"One of what?" I glared at this guy, who was wasting my morning energy. I enjoyed peaceful mornings, so this was not ideal.

"Those self-absorbed trainees?" He spoke up. "I'm Xiao. MCSC's only Liyueren to participate this year." He held out his hand.

Respectfully, I don't do hands. But mine had a mind of its own and slipped into his, firmly shaking it.

"Xiao..." The name slipped off my tongue like a curse. "I've heard of you. You must have heard of me as well?"

"Yeah. Scaramouche. Or Kuni?" He asked, taking his earbuds out of the case. "It's just Kuni," I replied. "Now will you be quiet so I can focus? You're making this extremely hard."

"Ha. Carry on." He pushed his earbuds in, queuing up a loud track with an awful audio leak as he scrolled on his phone.

As I marched back onto the ice with my sense fan as a waving prop, I couldn't tell if Xiao had made my day better, or worse.
