Finally, Mahiro is doing a vocal, I prefer him as a vocalist than a rapper. I'm so happy that he was in Attention team, his voice suits on that kind of song. Also I wish Jyunhao should be in a Vocal team instead because his dance is not that powerful.

:( it’s probably because he got last pick on the position evaluation. But overall, the positions seem to be fair and trainees are getting songs that suit them. It was a huge issue season 2 as many vocalists were stuck in the dance or rap position.

Oh yeah definitely. I know starship can get a bad rep sometimes but in this case they definitely had better management. I honestly got kind of mad hearing rumors of them debuting another group. It seemed like with Up10tion's debut they were sweeping 100% under the rug and so to me it felt like they were doing the same to up10tion 😔. Top media just needs to focus on the groups they have instead of spending money on another one.

40k is by no means bad its super good comparatively to others. But it definitely shows a drop in popularity even with Wooseok back in the group. The last MV Laberinto was way cheaper looking than ones in their past too. Kind of makes me wonder if Top has money issues right now.

Sunyoul is probably the only one who has comparable popularity for going viral for his makes singer performance. But they let it go out by not putting him on more shows.

Same. I cry pretty easily (sad commercials get me lol) but I don't like to cry in front of other people. Sldo, i never know what to do when someone cries and I just feel awkward. So watching them break into sobs on stage or in interviews throws me lol.

I honestly can't blame you, it's the same I feel I about Pledis debuting a new boy group in the future, most people were mad that Pledis even debuts girl groups but I believe they should never debut another group again. And I never understood that mentality, if your current groups do badly, then is it a really good idea to debut another one? It'll cost even more to debut a group rather than just giving your current groups a comeback.

40k is pretty great by some standards, I agree. Most of the groups tend to sell around 20-30k. But knowing that they once sold 50k more, it seems so less and a quite significant drop in sales. And you're right.. it's cheap looking, so in TOP's case it can be lack of money but it makes me sad when groups that sell well also get really low-quality M/V's that are mostly green screens, then that's definitely greediness. :/

But I also liked Hwanhee's, it's crazy how he has such similar voice to Baekhyun and even shares birthday with him, honestly UP10TION is lacking nothing but the K-pop market is too saturated with so many boy groups debuting and trying to hit big so it's not their fault, you just need massive luck and right timing.

I can't trust any of them because I am convinced a lot of them make music, not because they're passionate, but because they want money and it shows. How could she not know about it before? Yup Minseo's team.. i think they were the team that nobody picked and they had lot of X's and not anyone that popular.. lot of obstacles but managed to pull of one of best performances for me : /

but the thing is that as far as I know there's a certain # after which no one makes it into the final group so that'd eliminate Seokhwa & Hyeonsu

and I don't see Minhee making it into the group, there's no way there'd be another Starship trainee, maximum 2

so will this be first season without any Kang or will Hyeonsu/Seokhwa raise enough to make it?

People's big excuse with Chris Brown is that Rihanna fought back and so they argue they just fought rather than he beat her....kind of like the Hara situation. Whenever a woman defends herself in these situations they get turned on unfortunately.

I think their fansites just aren't posting pictures because they fear screentime will be cut. Though with the big time trainees I don't think thet'll be a problem which is why there's leaks of Wooseok, Hyeongjun, Yohan, etc. Eunsang supposedly had a lot of fans there so they probably took pictures.

Honestly, that would make great TV/story. Hyeonsu debuted twice and failed, had his father campaign for him, then did really well in the evaluation. Supposedly, he helped choreograph the dance too!

I have hope he'll rise to the top but I also hope he doesn't get crushed by the pressure. Also, I worry i'll get my hopes too high lol

It would be a huge shake up if Minhee swooped in and replaced Wonjin or Jungmo. I wouldn't complain though (Minhee reminds me of Jaemin and I have a weakness for trainees that remind me of other idols) but I'd be a little sad because i'm rooting for Wonjin the most out of the starship trainees.

I actually do see a possibility of Minhee shaking the rankings up and replacing another Starship trainee, saw a thread on Reddit that the core fandom of Minhee is actually within the top 11. And with the rumours that he left a really deep impression during the position evaluations, I'm curious to see how will he place after the reset.

I also absolutely will not mind Hyeonsu as he is such a qualified trainee to debut and deserves to have a chance at success after so many tries.

They're cheap too, the only reason NU'EST and Seventeen can even promote, is because most of their songs are self-composed and they also owe a lot to Bumzu. I believe he even worked on Pristin songs. I think it worked super well for them, I personally don't listen to them, but they have a lot of dedicated fans.

I feel bad for 100%, they lost one member and they've always been the most underrated TOP group. But they have really good songs.

UP10TION for me is that group that has no bad b-sides, TOP always makes sure they have really good producers!

That's true + a lot of people who used to be humble no longer remain that way once they start to earn a lot. If she didn't fight back, she could be dead.. What the hell is wrong with these people? It's 100% obvious he was the culprit as it's not his only crime, he has so much to his name. Poor Hara too, I really feel sorry for her. :(

Is it bigger than Ham Wonjin's? He went up by 2 ranks to 10. Honestly, with the hate Song Hyeongjun gets on Pann, he can drop quite a lot. There's no way 3 Starship trainees would debut so one has to drop out and I assume that one person is Koo Jungmo but I also think Kang Minhee will keep dropping because most of these trainees only survive due to 11 pick voting (this is exactly why Jonghyun didn't make it into W1, because he didn't have strong one pick or even two pick support and most people thought he was safe so they voted for Minhyun instead) and I'm 100% sure that most people vote for all Starship trainees together but then some of them have fans that don't care for the company they're in because they get a lot of screen time (like Song Hyeongjun).

Also, Song Hyeongjun, Ham Wonjin and Kang Minhee are all in Finesse team, while as Koo Jungmo is in Attention team with Moon Hyunbin, since Hyunbin is only A grade in that team, it can work a lot in his favour. But, hey, I might be completely wrong.. just that I know it won't be as biased as first evaluation. xD

Minhee is expected to rise I've read since he's got one of the bigger fandoms. I can see Hyeongjun dropping some back I think he'll still make the group. But I feel like there might be 3 starship trainees competing for the second starship trainee position lol.

Unfortunately, Hyunbin and Wonjin seem like the best skill wise but the least likely to rise and most likely to fall 😔

Choi Suhwan is an individual trainee and contestant of Produce X 101 who has been gaining popularity for his diligence and spectacular talent.

Currently in rank No. 24, it seems that his mother stepped up to help promote her son and boost his rank.

Photos of the handmade hairbands Choi Suhwan’s mother passed out has been spreading through online communities.

The creator of the post stated that Choi Suhwan’s mother was passing them out.

Inside each package, which was labeled with Choi Suhwan’s picture and name, were hairbands with assorted ribbons attached to them.

During one of his first interviews on the program, Choi Suhwan stated that he thought of this audition program as his last chance and confessed that he’s been to approximately 30-40 auditions in the past, failing at each one.

As a result, he often took to busking on the streets to sing. He claimed that he had better vocal and dance skills than some others, who passed the audition due to their “good visuals”.

I even resented the world at one point. If I was failing because of my face and height, I wanted to overcome this with my skills.
