Bocchi is much more focused on the musical aspect than K-On. It don't have many similarities outside of being about a girl band. K-On focuses more on the CGDCT aspect, whilst Bocchi the Rock focused more on the conflicts of social anxiety and being a band, and it is more focus on the music aspect. A lot of people do compare the 2 a lot, though.
