me 2 i just felt uncomfortable pretending i was straight and denying that i did have attractions to women yeah its hard to hide it from family for me i always tell them stuff but now i learnt not everyting abt me need to be shared and thats ok

The problem with labels is that people use them to restrict rather than guide. They think of them as brandings, a few words to define their existence forever. Of course a few terms are unlikely to encompass the entirety of the thoughts and feelings that make up one's identity, but it can be useful to find similar people that affirm that you're not alone in your experiences, especially if you're someone who feels disconnected from humanity like myself. Or to better know yourself, or to better understand other's experiences or identity (ignorance easily leads to disgust and hatred, after all). I feel like that made little sense. My point is: there's nothing wrong with not using labels if you don't want to, but don't be afraid to have fun with them. They can even change or contradict! Queerness is, well, queer; it's not going to fit perfectly into any sort of box. People who think so don't know their own history.
