Groups that changed their names just before debuting (1 Viewer)

... or disbanded pre-debut and re-formed with a different name

a couple come to mind....Pink Punk and Hurricane Pop
also known as Blackpink and Crayon Pop

any others?

[Ahsoka]

I don’t know at what point the name was changed, but “Diridiri Daradara Duruduru Bop” was a name considered for Sistar. I think it’s worth saying just for the absurdity of the proposed name

I don’t know if this counts but Posh Girls disbanded and then redebuted as GG

The alternates for Gfriend were actually HugHug, World Peace or Guardian Angel.

Lovelyz was a known predebut group and they were called Radiance aka little sister group of infinite as trainees.
