Minhee is expected to rise I've read since he's got one of the bigger fandoms. I can see Hyeongjun dropping some back I think he'll still make the group. But I feel like there might be 3 starship trainees competing for the second starship trainee position lol.

Unfortunately, Hyunbin and Wonjin seem like the best skill wise but the least likely to rise and most likely to fall 😔

Sometimes Knetz can be great though. Jaehwan fell to 13th in Episode 10 and managed to get 6th in the final! Also Sungwoon's miracle rise from 25th to 3rd. I really hope we'll see something like this in the last few episodes.

It honestly amazes me how the least talented Starship trainees are more likely to make it. Does it even make sense? I'm not even bitter because I don't have any of these Starship boys as my favourites but if you have an A grade trainee on 41st place and other A one falling out for D grade trainee to get in.. that's just sad, lol. Both Hyunbin and Wonjin were also only ones to get D rank, the rest of three got X rank and then moved to F/D. Hyunbin even looks like a visual to me so what's the deal with knetizens? I guess Hyeongjun's appeal is that he's cute but I don't understand the other two still.

Like really if I didn't know Wooseok from Up10tion i'd be wondering why he was so popular. He hasn't got much screen time and in the performance he really was just showing off sex appeal and nothing else. As his fan i'm happy because this is working in his benefit right now but it just really shows that visuals are really taking priorities over everything else which is annoying to me.

I feel like I hate on visuals so much but I think it's bitterness from the years of stanning Chen and seeing him be underrated but other exo-ls unless he's used to diss other groups vocals 😑

He was a great center for lullaby too!! He actually looks a lot better with black hair and they make they did on him complimented his features well. He honestly isn't a bad looking kid just average but make-up and styling can up his visuals like with all idols.

I think him and Hyeongjun are the same age but they look totally different visually because Hyeongjun looks so young so he's got noona fan for that reason.

I love flower boy visuals as much as the next --I mean I stan SM boy groups so that's a good indicator lmao--- but I like to be blown away by talent too lol

They're cheap too, the only reason NU'EST and Seventeen can even promote, is because most of their songs are self-composed and they also owe a lot to Bumzu. I believe he even worked on Pristin songs. I think it worked super well for them, I personally don't listen to them, but they have a lot of dedicated fans.

I feel bad for 100%, they lost one member and they've always been the most underrated TOP group. But they have really good songs.

UP10TION for me is that group that has no bad b-sides, TOP always makes sure they have really good producers!

That's true + a lot of people who used to be humble no longer remain that way once they start to earn a lot. If she didn't fight back, she could be dead.. What the hell is wrong with these people? I just need to figure out why half of the trainees in current top 11 deserve it because I've no clue. Even in S2, I felt meh at first, but I accepted it a lot faster and all the boys became dear to me but I feel like in this season, there are just some guys, and I can only guess it's due to their visuals or company name or why?

I agree but who would decide on it? I think it'd be only fair if teachers chose who to bring back.. because while we appreciate Minseo, it's obvious that most Knetizens didn't care about him even after when he was gone and I'm sure teachers can recognise his talent well. :(

Yeah it's amazing to me that Pledis gets these super talented people then basically abuses them. Like I wonder if they'll even pay Woozi royalties one day for the songs he's produced.

Yeah they've never been my favorite group but their music has always been good and they have talent. Their member dying is honestly so sad he wasn't even in his 30's yet I don't think. There seems to be a lot of young idols and actors dying these last few years from illnesses.

YES!!! Their bsides are great! Their Japanese releases are so good! I really think they should have made and promoted a Korean version of ID.

It's really fucked up. It's scary to read about women who defend themselves or their children from abusive partners but end up arrested. Apparently, a lot of women in jail for homicide were put in their after murdering abusive partners and for too many it was in self defense too.

I mean for me personally Hyeongjun borders uncanny valley territory, remember when I mentioned he looks like someone pasted IU's face over his face, lmao. He's not bad looking but he's bit alien like/feminine? I can't explain it. The other guys aren't really my taste either, I actually think Hyunbin is the best looking one, but for me the looks are not that important, but obviously I'd rather pick before A grade and not a visual over F rank visual.

He's good looking, he's talented so even though people pay more attention to his visuals, I think he deserves his ranking because he has a talent to back up his visuals. And I think a lot of these guys are in top 11 right now simply because during the red carpet event, they got the best photos taken and then they were spread all over pann, dcgall, etc. Remember Cha Yunho having over 60+ fansites due to his resamblance to L but I'm not sure if he'll even make it because MNET isn't interested in pushing him, he seems like a really stoic person too.

In S2, the A ranks were first eliminated in Episode 8, there was actually a great article about why S4 is not as popular and it was one of the reasons, that MNET pushes the already pushed one more, and the ones in bottom get no chance at all because the votes tell it all.. explains why top 4 had 1 million votes but less than 4 million votes compared to S2, it means they all went there.

Their Summer Hero song is still my favourite from them. And he was 33, I had no clue he's 6 years older than the next oldest member. I didn't really stan 100% and I believe he was in the army too during most of their promotions so I wasn't that familiar with Minwoo but it's still sad, no one should be having heart attack at such young age, it's really unexpected, makes you think that it can happen to all of our favourites. :(

The worst is that a lot of women are even too scared to look for help so they'd rather suffer in silence.. if the man is abusive, who knows what they could do once woman seeks for help. :/

Hmm, trying to understand Korean's taste is something that would be pretty difficult I would say, lol. I too agree that Hyunbin is the best looking Starship trainee and might be the second most 'talented'(i.e ready) out of the 4 but he was given the center position for Blood Sweat and Tears and honestly, he bombed it. I had him as my second favourite Starship trainee prior to that but I absolutely thought he wasted the position and Yunsol would have done ten times better the job.

I was so disappointed I couldn't even finish watching the whole performance due to how bland the whole performance felt. I definitely saw the importance of center position after that stage.

I would like to think that I have similar preferences to Korean netizens so I think the main attractive-ness that appeals to them(and myself) is the star factor, where they compel your attention to them. Sorry if this offended some people but it is my honest take as a viewer who came into this show unbiased without seeing ANY pre-show photos or know about any trainees including the debuted ones.

Till now, I absolutely understand all the rankings besides BaekJin and Seungyoun but the latter's definitely rising a lot after the reset so I'm glad the Koreans' taste so far aligns with mine. I too, might want to change some of the rankings for my own preferences in having a more solid and ready to debut team but I am sure some of the people will drop and rise so this is the fun of the whole show to me. :)

That's what I was trying to explain with the personality part. A lot of idols people say have star power don't have the charisma just the visuals. Even with stage presence too I feel like people just say whoever is the best looking has the best stage presence just because they are nice too look at.

Plus, if we take into consideration how the demand that idols must be good looking has only increased as kpop has gotten more popular, it shows how differently idols were viewed from when TVXQ and Rain were super popular. Beauty standards have become more rigid and plastic surgery more common to meet those standards. Yoochun, Junsu, and Rain could get by with their charisma back then but charismatic idols now get dragged for lacking visuals or ignored for better looking members. Twice Jihyo for example was largely ignored until she started losing weight and then knetz suddenly realized she was charismatic and had a great presence on stage.

And like I said the judges were impressed by his presence and charisma on stage comparing him to already debuted idols. I guess that's another problem with the "it factor" though is it can be different for everyone. One person might see it, while another might not. It's why I view it as pretty unreliable
