Maybe. I don’t know Japanese, but for that moment I assumed it’s a phrase that they often say and may understand because it’s said so often. Kind of like how if I was forced to perform in Korea somehow, I wouldn’t know what to say for most of the talking, but i could still understand the gesture for sorichilo. I’m more wondering if she knows any of the rest of what she’s saying

Probably not. I don’t expect them to speak Japanese as a default, I just never before thought about how the company approaches idols with stuff like this, since there’s a couple ways they could do it. This is just me being interested in language learning though, and how it’s done for various people based on what their jobs are
