One coffee place near me has a "mudslide" coffee for spring, and I can taste the river of chocolate in it, A+ to their head barista for this seasonal selection.

Another coffee place near me has a "spicy coconut grapefruit latte" which sounds absolutely repulsive, like wtf. I haven't tried it, because I'm not wasting $8 to end up tossing it, but I heard a girl at the gym say that spicy grapefruit part was gross, but the underlying coffee in it tasted nice enough and she ended up finishing it.

yes but not coffee itself like for example there is a cat cafe near me and they have a wonderful cinammon roll every fall/winter and a pistachio croissant every spring/summer - i barely go a week without having them and i know these cats are tired of seeing me at the door also they're like 3$ which helps. as for chains like starbucks and shit then i wouldn't try their seasonal or literally any other offerings even if i were the one getting paid for that

Pistachio croissant sounds amazing!! You're making me want to see what the local cat cafe to me has going on for the spring.

And 100%. I don't know why people pay for Starbucks; their coffee tastes burnt, and I like a dark roast. Anything they've done that I've thought "that sounds good" I can almost always find a local coffee place that does something similar and better.
