I decided not to watch live stream and wait for subs. just watched some of the performance clips.
-Finesse really didn't do anything for me. Happy to hear Hangyul won the live audience vote?
-Yes and No made me go to another survival show rap performance to cleanse my ears. Sorry not sorry. I like the two Seungyoun/Sungyeons so that's unfortunate.
-Attention was a mixed bag. There were some elements I loved and others were meh. Yeah, Mahiro needs to work on his English enunciation. It sounds like he 's mumbling with marbles in his mouth. Though I'm going to add: English is not the primary language they will be singing in. I'm no fan of Jungmo but I thought he was one of the better ones here. That lip bite at the end was a no for me.
-Twit: I did not care for the styling nor presentation. The guy from Team Clap did the best. I need to learn his name. He's cute with a good voice but he's not my type. Eunsang did the best with facial expressions.
-The ballad song: I'm officially on team Hyeonbin now. Mnet set me up on a blind date with him and I didn't care for his rapping but second date: YES to the vocals. I find ballads boring, so if I have to re-evaluate this stage it will be a chore.

Did you see that there was almost 8 million vote drop in Episode 6? That's insane. In S2, it dropped from 24 million to 22 million.

This is just insane. I think MNET has become so greedy that it's biting them in the ass in the end...

This is just insane. I think MNET has become so greedy that it's biting them in the ass in the end...

It just is less exciting when they push trainees too hard and the ranks are so manipulable by fanbases

I feel like no one even bothers voting anymore, that's why Jinhyuk, Seungwoo and others rose a lot too because of the fandom (this is not a bad thing, it just means they have dedicated fans).

It'll be interesting to see if it can change a lot. Because right now both Wooseok & Jinhyuk are in top 11!

Firstly-
Yohan, Suhwan, Dongpyo. What is happening here? I get Yohan might be getting less votes because he got #1 but to drop that many spaces....also Hyeonjun and Mingyu were able to maintain their places so it's just shocking to see. Like of the top 3 he had the most skill so i'm a little salty about this.

Suhwan hopefully will rise again after the position evaluation. Him and Yuvin in the group would be the dream~

Dongpyo: Did something happen with him that I missed? I guess Mnet has given him less screen time but it seems weird for him to fall out of the top like that. He's young but is a good dancer and his vocals are pretty good as well. It's sad to see him drop. I actually started rooting for him because he did well as center and I was so skeptical of him at first


Secondly-
How the hell is Mingyu maintaining #3 but these trainees fell?!?!?! Like no hate to him because it isn't his fault but Mnet needs to stop deceptively editing him. First they edit the 7th sense performance to just his face where nobody sees how bad his dancing is and now it looks like his vocals are getting an edit next episode....

It's like they want him to get hate or something! If him and Wooseok make the line up then I can already see people asking "What's Mingyu's purpose for being in the group?" If you have two visuals in the group and one has skills and the other is really lacking they will be compared and Mingyu is going to get dragged.

At this point I just feel sorry for the dude because Mnet is setting him up for a world of hate.

I didn't like in 48 season how positions were chosen by popularity cause it ended up with visuals who couldn't sing hogging all the hardest vocal parts just cause they wanted to stand out and ended up into mess performances. It seems like they have bit better version of this this year- instead of what lines u get within song u get to decide what position team you will go which is fairer. Though I hope no awesome vocalist will be forced to rap or sth just cause some visual who cannot sing wants screentime

I like the addition of X position and how they get more points for it, gives multitalented idols more choice. Though i think those not choosing it are being bit too scaredy cats.. or they aren't confident enough on their skills. Fighting X teams.

It seems like Cha Junho is having a phase that Baejin had when he was on the show. The edit and the ranking were almost alike. Both of them even shared a personality.

Do you think Nam Dohyun break the curse? I mean his rank has dropped but he was still in top 10 plus he also got a first place on the rap challenge.

Kim Yohan ranking dropped should not be concern, his rank was still high. Remember before, Daniel ranked was also dropped from rank 2 to rank 8 and then he went back to rank 1 until on the finale. Guanlin was more nerve wracking though from rank 2 to rank 20 but it such a relieved when he debuted as a Wanna One member.

Kim Minkyu is so lucky he has a both sides, the show and popularity. The show is giving him a good edit and a screen time and his fans are so many, all of them are loyal and supportive towards him, literally all his fans were defending him for all those hates that he got.

yeah Cube and Starship seem to have a good relationship with Mnet when it comes to this show

There was a rumor before that Mnet and Cube had a beef that was a reason why Cube didn't send a trainee on this season but both are civil now. I think the beef was happened during the audition. But I am not sure if the rumor was true.
