Yesterday one of my daughters dropped curry all over the family cat and today he is walking around the house still stinking like a tikka masala....

Suggestions? Because my parent in laws are coming over tomorrow and I don't really want him still stinking of curry when they do come over. And unless I can remove this stench, I am going to shave off his fur in a last ditch attempt....

Buy scented cat shampoo. My (older) cat loves the smell of his shampoo so he let's me wash him lol. I tried washing him with a different shampoo once and now I have a scar on my hand 😢

My (baby) cat rolled in petrol the other day so we took him to the vet and they gave him a shower with unscented shampoo. Sadly he still smells like petrol and he doesn't like showers like his older brother. So if you find a way that doesn't involve bathing let me know too please.

Don't declaw cats . It's equilevant of snapping half of fingers off from human and illegal around the world as animal cruelty.

Bubble bath soap. A toilet. A couple flushes.

Presto chango, clean curry-less cat!

But seriously, maybe try this mixture (it's typically used to get the musk that skunks spray in defense out of an animal's fur):

In an open container, like a mixing bowl or pitcher, combine the 1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, and a tablespoon of the Joy or Dawn dish washing soap.
