I had a swallow test today (1 Viewer)

I have a narrow esophagus as part of my disability, and I had a swallow test today to figure out why I'm choking a lot. So, apparently, there's a lump in my esophagus that's blocking big chunks of food from going down. It's not a tumor, though, so at least that's good. But MAN... that barium solution they made me swallow, though! UGHHHHHHHHH it was like drinking days-old black coffee... so gross! And not only that, but... well, did you know barium gives you the runs? I've been struggling with it since this afternoon.

Hope u get weell soon... I think Barium sulphate can cause diarrhoea if swallowed...

oh, believe me, it was! It started out sweet and tolerable, but then they made me take more
