Does Starship have some kind of deal with Mnet? It might be the first time three trainees from one company debut in the final line up.

This is what I see also. Ham Wonjin and Song Hyunjoon are being one of a favorite by Mnet but people here mentioned that Ham Wonjin is having a bad edit which I find it weird because on a previous episodes Mnet was obviously pushing him hard.

I think Koo Jungmo is the one that Mnet is trying to get rid by giving him a less of screen time. The plan worked a little because Koo Jungmo rank dropped from Rank 2 to Rank 9 but overall it didn't work out because he was always consecutive in top 10.

I didn't like in 48 season how positions were chosen by popularity cause it ended up with visuals who couldn't sing hogging all the hardest vocal parts just cause they wanted to stand out and ended up into mess performances. It seems like they have bit better version of this this year- instead of what lines u get within song u get to decide what position team you will go which is fairer. Though I hope no awesome vocalist will be forced to rap or sth just cause some visual who cannot sing wants screentime

Chaewon never been in top 10 on a previous ranking yet she managed to get it on the finale and made her debut as a IZ*ONE member that was such unexpected to her good thing is she can sings. Actually except for Wonyoung and Sakura all of the IZ*One members have a horrible ranking orders.

I watched the latest episode now. The issue about Ham Wonjin is all about misunderstanding and showing some pride but at the end he reconciled. So, I think his scene will not affect to the viewers unless he will still continue that attitude but nonetheless Mnet still favoring him.

I saw a poll on twitter today and Sihoon is like ranked #1 for international fans now. Its sad he's underrated in Korean still 😭

Not so fresh news but another mere similar Kang Hyunsoo's story and it is Kim Dongbin because his father and brother were distributing a chocolates to support and promote Kim Dongbin but some of the people were being disrespect by crushing and throwing a chocolate that was given for them. But to be honest I don't see them making it, who knows I might be wrong.

Performances;

Twit: In terms of vocal tones I like Hyeop's most. I dont think I was actually familiar with any of these guys before hand. Lee Midam is really pretty. Camera work was awful though. And I liked the teamwork they had I feel like this team had one of best synergy.

Attention: This team was just mess huh. The performance went better than expected. Mahiro was probably best one in the team, he had good stage presence and solid vocal. Tony didn't do a lot, but I just like his tone...

but voting though. wtf Mahiro being last I mean i get he wasn't high in ranking but he was center and praised and the guy getting one line got 2nd place. They should change the audience I feel like the voting is already decided before the performances like I get that everyone has favorites and such, but I also feel some of it should be about how well someone did- rant over-

Tell me yes or no: I don't think I even like this song when it's performed by Zico. They did okay job for the song, there was part in the middle that was even great. Though I'm still kinda bummed that the raps aren't translated, lyrics are kinda big deal for rap.

Finesse: I liked how creative this team felt. This was probably my fav performance so far though I don't feel there was as much of standouts during the performance for me than people just working well together. Though outside of performance I think I'm starting to like Ham Woojin. I liked how the center guy gave credit to Sihoon who did most of choreo.

Me After You: I don't really like ballads so this wasn't that interesting to me. Vocals were fine. Yo-han, the one in first seat, was last in rankings though wtf alright i have no idea how the voting goes.


Overall Finesse is my fav performance so far and I did like that I got to know more of the guys so I feel bit less confused what's going on xd And i think i found more guys to like. Seung yeon standed out from rap team, Wojin from dance, Hyeop and Midan from vocal.

I admire the higher ranked trainees who chose X position (Jungmo, Jinhyuk). I like people with guts. I would understand if someone who can't dance at all would choose rap or vocal though.

Finally got around to watching the episode

I feel bad but I don't care for most of the contestants? This is the first time while watching Produce that I'm not rooting for 20 people or something.

Twit - They did well, I don't agree with the ranking but I knew Eunsang was gonna get number 1 because that's just how life goes. The center guy had so much shining moments, I thought he would be first.

Attention - I wish they had a Korean song instead, I feel like they would've had an easier time with it. I don't remember the performance at all except for the new backdrop props lol This is like the challenge on The Unit when they had to be self producing idols but I liked those interpretations better. The lowest ranking Starship guy is so underrated though.

Tell Me, Yes or No - The rap cypher bit was fun. Cho Seungyoun shines so much in these scenes. Cheetah's advice actually works for the trainees compared to the other trainers? This performance is giving me same vibes as that song that Woo Jinyoung performed in S2. Everyone did well!

Finesse - Look at Hangyul getting that screentime! I never really cared for Sihoon before this but I think he just skyrocketed to my top 11 this episode. I think the group did great but the outfits don't fit the song at all? I thought Sihoon will get a higher rank but other than that I thought the ranking was fine.

Me After You - Junho's storyline makes sense. I'm glad he's getting screentime and improving too. I think he can work on his facial expressions since he got everything down already. Seungwoo being so reliable though. They did well too! I thought they made a mistake in the rankings cause Junho was 2nd and there were still two left. Seungwoo deserved that first place. Surprised at Yohan's rank.

I only watched episode 6 thru the cypher but I already watched the performances before watching the episode. Most of the people in the live audience are not voting for performance quality but either their faves or the visuals. Adding to my previous comments:

Twit-This team got along so well. I usually agree with the trainers/professionals more than the voters. The trainers were shown praising Junghwan, Hyeop, and Seokhwa. My personal fave was Hyeop. I feel Seokhwa performs better during practice. He must get really nervous on stage. Eunsang got the most votes because he's popular and has the look. His intro video was one of my faves but now I'm starting to resent him.

Attention-Hyunbin should have been leader. He seemed to be doing the most directing. I did not like the way Gichan reacted to his line distribution. Didn't Tony have less lines? (Also did not like how Wonjin reacted on the Finesse team either. I understand they're under a lot of pressure but they are being selfish by sucking up their teammates' time and energy.) The trainers were shown praising Mahiro and Tony but I thought Jungmo and Seongjun did the best. Mahiro sounded good but he kept on smiling during the performance. It did not match the song. I liked the aesthetics of this performance the most. And the group intro was super cute.

Me After You-My opinion on Yohan's low rank: The people in the live audience do not want him to get a vocal position. They want their faves in vocal and Yohan in rap. This is how they communicated it to him.

Finesse-I like Sihoon's personality.

Nam Dohyun is obviously debuting he will be the maknae and main rapper for this line up plus he is tall too which every maknae on a line up is always tall.

I know Son Dongpyo personality is far from being cute, you can tell that some of his aegyo is over the top.

But for the cute concept? Hoping it will not happen sorry for those fans who like that concept but for me I ain't fan especially a like kindergarten songs one it make me cringe.

I'm the complete opposite lol! I love the cute/fresh concepts. I'm not into overly cute like early NCT Dream stuff but I like "fresh" stuff like NCT 127's 'Touch', The Boyz 'Bloom Bloom', and SVT's earlier songs

I think that's what i like a bout his personality is that he looks cute so he kind of has to act cute but he seems just to want to sass people or something. I love smartasses and I feel like he is one underneath the facade lmao

Twit was alright, I guess. I'm not a huge fan of the rendition, but the boys did sing pretty well! I don't quite agree with the results though. Eunsang is definitely in my top 11 at least for now, but first place in this performance... ehhh. I hope Junghwan makes it in the next elimination anyway! I'm also starting to like Midam, hopefully that doesn't mean that he's going to get eliminated lol.

Attention was such a pretty stage, looked like a real comeback stage! But... that's really it. The choreography was pretty forgettable (like it wasn't necessarily BAD, just boring), and didn't really showcase the whole all-rounderness. The vocals were nice, but apart from Seongjun I guess it was just alright? Hyunbin's nonexistent facial expressions kinda annoyed me throughout the performance. I wish Tony had gotten more lines also.

(On a sidenote, I was happy to see Tony speak more Korean in these past two episodes! I almost got worried for him as he seemed to only speak English during the interviews.)

I know literally nothing about rap, but I guess everyone in Tell me, Yes or No sounded good?

Finesse was fun to watch. The outfits were extremely bland and I feel like the performance was missing something, but it was fun nevertheless. I especially love Sihun so much, I could replay his center part whole day. My heart breaks knowing that he probably won't make it into the group, since his ranking keeps decreasing. </3 He's so underrated right now, although he's super good and likeable. Also Hyungjun's "ow" broke me, so cute.
