I just noticed something about the postal abbreviations in the US (1 Viewer)

AL (Alabama) transposed is LA (Louisiana), and the same goes for New Mexico and Minnesota - NM and MN! haha idk I was just looking at a Google map and realized this.

Russia has 83 (counting only UN recognized borders) and France has around 101. If you eliminate overseas land, it’s 96 for France.

Like this The different colors are for super regions, but they don’t have a similar kind of standing that US states and territories to a lesser extent do. They don’t handle local stuff really in the same way that US states do, that’s the job of the departments. Those are the small areas.
