I was at a reenactment, and as part of it, they showed the process of shooting a cannon, including the actual shooting. Of course they used blanks, but it’s still not recommended to not walk in front of a cannon shooting anything. As they were setting it up, people kept walking across the field, even though they got yelled at. While they’re still getting set up I can kind of understand. Still wouldn’t walk in front of a cannon that’s going to be shot soon after, but it’s not the most absurd thing ever. But even when they were ready to load it, people still decided to cross. And a couple crossed even while they were loading the cannon. But imagine having so much courage that you don’t see an issue walking in front of a cannon that will shoot in less than a minute
