as I have been through all music genre I HATE country,no offence to anyone who likes it but it just makes me annoyed

I can appreciate any genre tbh
I just don't like anything from T Swift or Coldplay. I really don't get the hype behind it and their songs feel like they last an eternity for me

I am not sticking to one genre, I am calling out all the garbage they play in EU on the radio. It is all dj music, no talent, zero efford, and instead they are using beats and songs that were trendy 20+ years ago and have some unknown singer do some vocals and call it a day.

One of the only "newer" artists I can say I enjoy are Ed Sheeran, and some Taylor Swift imo.

Also find it funny how it use to be a trend to reuse disco few years ago, and now it's all country. I miss the days when you had music channels and would get Rap, RnB, Punk, Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, but it's all gone now no sub genres anymore.

oh, and also bedroom pop that's classified as alternative. Alternative to me is pop punk and rock, not people whisper-singing over lofi beats. no offense to the bedroom pop fans - it's just not my cup of tea

a genre of polish dance music called disco polo... this shit is basically made only for drunk people or conservatives (sometimes both) to enjoy at their garden parties. its stupid lyrics and cheap production are an insult to actual disco music and don't even get me started on that industry's connections to our former right wing government. i would never take anyone seriously if they told me they listen to this

I love Metal but I don't love every Metal subgenre.

I like the mix of harsh and melodic, even dreamy, parts in a song. I don't like vocalists that only scream.

Dayseeker's 'Pale Moonlight' is one of my favorite songs at the moment. It's a good example of such a blend:



Or ERRA's 'Nigh To Silence'. It's heavier but there are still melodic parts.



For me a good modern Metal song should be like an emotional rollercoaster, in a good sense.

This. Genre is simply a category, there'll always be good and bad songs within them.

This being said, I quite like folk and country but I don't like much of the current country pop coming out rn.
