like, you were stuck in a faraway city with no way to get or call home?

that was me back in ig '17? but I was supposed to have a scheduled ride home from a doctor's appointment that was like an hour away. they never came, and I was stuck with a dying cellphone, no payphones around (didn't have change for one anyway), and when I used the doctor's office phone to call my parents, they were in a bad service area, so they couldn't understand my request to call someone to pick me up. Well, two hours later, a family friend of ours finally showed up to bring me home.

That sounds really stressful. I haven’t ever been completely stranded. The closest was when my flight got delayed by almost 24 hour, but the flight there had made it (it was a layover). I could call home though since I was at the airport, and my flight did eventually make it to the destination the next day.

ohhhhhhhh it was a living nightmare! I was pacing the ground, going in and out and in and out of the building tryna figure out what to do... and my parents (forgot to mention this) were on vacation in Canada, so they couldn't just pick me up
