I saw one today

In case you didn’t know, here is what it looks like (random google images)

This duck was introduced to the Finger Lakes region of New York State in about 1840. The ducks (and the county) were named “Cayuga” after the indigenous peoples of that area. The mature Cayuga averages 7-8 lbs. and can obtain most of its diet from foraging when given appropriate areas to explore for food. Cayuga ducks can lay 100-150 large eggs per year that can be used for general eating and baking purposes.​
