the decision to be more open about my bisexuality since starting college has really made me feel freer than i ever have in my life

the conversations are sometimes uncomfortable, yeah. mainly because my queerness was something only my friends knew about. now this list includes some family members. hopefully in the future my parents are fully aware. they should know to some level now - i've dropped some massive hints. but when (or if?) i come out to them, like properly, they'll know that this isn't a phase. this is who i am.

coming out to my cousin further gave me the confidence that one day, i can clearly, without any "ehehehes" or "haha lol heehees" be open with my parents.

i am full of hope for a future where I'll be able to live authentically and freely with those i love. i am so full of hope.

Being queer with a homophobic family hurts. Though I know others out there have it worse, maybe the same level as me.
I pray / hope that anyone who is closeted or anyone who is out, ( no matter if it was your choice or someone outted you wrongfully -- which is never okay ), finds their " fam" ( like a chosen family or just a group of people who love u for u ) and safety, because queer people are still people and adding the label " queer" won't change the fact that we deserve love and respect. Being queer isn't a choice and it isn't " contagious", even if you realize in the near future that you like girls but maybe when you were nine you didn't, you are building blocks ( like Legos ) to know Moe about yourself. Wether you are Cis, Straight, Gay, Pan, Allo, Trans or whatever you identify as, you still deserve a place for family and love and welcoming

Misgendered? Some users are a little dense/don't pay any attention to the sidebar so if you let them know I'm sure they will be apologetic. I would hope nobody on this site would do it maliciously. It is always disappointing though

I'm afraid to come out as a type of genderfluid / polygender to my friends because that would be an excuse for them to use she/her :|
But, honestly, what did I expect? People on here even use she/her for me ( Though some do NOT, and I'm happy because it gives me euphoria ) Did I spell that correctly?!!!?!?!?
