Other languages like Venetian are more similar to French than it is to Italian.

how rare would those languages be like these days like would there still be people that spoke only mainly Venetian or Neapolitan but limited standard Italian?

I guess in terms of written language we have traditional chinese vs simplified chinese - a lot of non mainland countries and regions still use traditional chinese script

Writing in Romance languages is kind of misleading as the written forms are kind of similar for most of them. It's kinda like writing in English and Scots. A lot easier to understand the writing than the spoken.

For how rare that only regional speakers would be I would say it depends on the region but, I think most people born after WW2 have good knowledge of standard Italian. That is a generalization though.

2015 percentage of people that spoke a regional language at home, the big 0-4% in the middle is Tuscany where standard Italian originates from:

yeah basically more strokes for traditional words compared to simplified words

Is it harder to do the Chinese writing system on computers? Is like each button multiple characters and you hit something else to change it?

I worked at a Chinese restaurant a few years, but I think they spoke Hokkien which is from Fujian and Taiwan.
