I’ve never felt so bad for a beetle before (2 Viewers)

The Slovenian Blind Cave Beetle is a rare cave beetle only found in about 15 caves in Slovenia. They aren’t known for a whole lot, but one thing they’re known for is their scientific name: Anophthalmus hitleri. Named in 1933, they are in fact named after Adolf Hitler. I can’t say the beetle is a looker, but I’d definitely rather see the beetle than its namesake
