Here we have a photo of a patient at a hospital buying cigarettes at his bedside
Everyone needs some cigarettes to cope with their lung cancer scareWould you like a side of carcinogens with your IV drip![]()
Ive seen a video of a doctor taking about that subject and he said that he thinks overprescription of antibiotics will be looked at this way due to the laziness of the approach and the downsides of it. I of course don’t know enough to say anything about it but I can see his reasoningWow, it’s honestly wild to imagine a time when cigarettes were sold at hospital bedsides! The 1950s feel like another world compared to today. Medical advice, daily habits, and what was considered “normal” have changed so much—sometimes for the better! It really puts into perspective how much society and awareness about health have evolved over the decades. Makes me curious what things we do now will look just as wild to people in the future!
That being said, in 2018 I've learned that at least one chain smoking pulmonologist exists.20th century sure wasssss

Doctors, Nurses and Smoking: Smoking Among Medical Professionals
Most medical professionals usually don’t smoke. But some do, despite many having first-hand experience of its dangers. The question is: why?tobaccofreelife.org
