My family and I have seen turkeys walk down our street before so I'm not surprised that we have more turkeys than people

Yeah I’m pretty sure pure turkeys are native only the North America. But given that turkeys themselves were named due to resembling another bird I’m sure there are various animals named after turkeys due to resemblance
