There is a dwarf planet called Sedna on the outer reaches of the solar system. What makes this planet so unique is its extremely elliptical obit. At its closest, Sedna is 2 times farther than Pluto from the sun. At its farthest, it is over 24 times farther than Pluto. Due to this orbit, Sedna takes roughly 11,400 years to complete one orbit around the sun.
