I've seen that some brands are already starting to do preorders and such. Have you ever gotten one or would you?

That would probably be nice! As long as you have a wide taste in chocolate, you're basically guaranteed to find every day at least okay.

When I was a kid I have gotten them a few times basically counting down to Christmas I think it was. Each day you'd open one "window" and it would have a small piece of chocolate behind it. I think I got it a total of two times in my life. There was one but then with perfumes that I wanted to get for my mom but it was kinda pricey for what it is

I've thought about getting one that contains a craft-a-day, but I worry about my ability to actually do a craft a day.

Not any more. I don't like cheap chocolate. I almost got one that was underwear but it was to pricy.

You could wait until Christmas and gift yourself 24 crafts.

i only had the ones with small chocolate candies when i was a kid, now i'm not really interested in buying them. and if i were, i'd only buy them right before december as i'm trying my best to keep my mind in the present to avoid existential dread about time passing too fast and ordering an advent calendar in august wouldn't help me with that

That'd be my concern. Some of these companies seem to use advent calendars as a way to offload product that didn't do well or wasn't good enough to stand on its own.

It does feel like Christmas stuff is starting extra early this year! Like why would you even want an advent calendar at this point??

right?? the stores seliing cheap decorations here tend to put easter themed products on sale right after valentines and halloween ones in august, which is something i never really understood because people here don't even buy these things that early.
