In my apartment, I have a dead basil plant and a something called a money plant my dad gave me.
Somehow it's still alive.

I rely on my uncle and his garden if I need something to remain alive and grow. XD

one medium golden palm, small cactus, small aloe vera and one biggish zz plant
golden palms are dramatic and moody af, the first one i had died when i moved him (his name was luhan) from my last apartment to the one i live in now. if i dont water that bastard every week or max every 2 weeks it takes a week for it to look decent and not suffering again. but anyways because of my golden palms i learned that even if i want to name and give personality to all my plants i cant do that because i cried when luhan was put in the trash. rip luhan
zz plant is beautiful and unbothered icon. bitch can survive for 2months of no watering and livens up in a day *muah*
aloe and cactus are lowkey neglected but still happy, and i water them when i start feel the vibes coming from them that they are in need of water.

zero because I was lazy and didn't water them all, so death was merciless

I’ve had a couple of mine do the dramatic flop too, so I get it. Sometimes they bounce back after a good trim and a bit of patience. If they don’t, I usually replace them with something easier so the whole shelf doesn’t look like a plant graveyard. indoor plant delivery has been handy for that since I can just pick a tough little guy and have it show up fresh.
