It can be refreshing to learn a language with no articles (1 Viewer)

I’m used to articles (a, an, the) in English. But some languages have way too many, like French. So when I learn a language like Korean, it can be so refreshing to not need any articles because they don’t exist. There’s lots of other stuff that I need to learn that can be difficult ofc, but not articles. Especially when articles really aren’t that necessary usually (just look at how many language don’t have them).

They have definite articles (the), which also conjugate based on gender, case, ect. Theirs aren’t always as noticeable to people who don’t speak the language because they’re used in the form of suffixes instead of separate words (for example, cow is kú and the cow is kúna)
