I love Halloween, but I wouldn't say I'm obsessed. I love doing fun Halloween activities and making treats.
This is my 1st year celebrating Halloween as a mom, so I am extra excited. They can't walk yet or anything, but I can't wait to see them dress up in their cute Halloween costume.

It's fun to see things through little kids' eyes! Have you decided on a costume for your little one?

I won't celebrate Halloween here in Germany. But I'll spend that night (and a few more days) in the country where it all started.

I will be at Púca Halloween Festival 2025 in County Meath (Eastern Ireland) with my brother and his wife (they live in Eastern Ireland).

Last year, a friend had some visitors from Germany around this time of the year, and we took them to a haunted house, trick or treating, and to a fall maze/pumpkin patch. Their conclusion was that Americans have a weird level of obsession with this holiday.

Rand being the smart one as always. Candy is ridiculous this year, I'm debating whether I bother dropping the funds to hand some out or not.

Yep, Germans are not that much into Halloween. There's mostly only some decoration at least in rural areas.

That being said, here in Southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland and parts of Italy there are rather spooky pagan traditions around Christmas time like Krampus night shows.

I'm pretty indifferent. I think it's cool and I like seeing Halloween-themed K-pop releases, but I'm not a big celebrator. My sister will probably have me walk with her and her friends in the upper neighborhood like they always do. I have no clue what I'll do for a costume

I usually don't do anything for Halloween, but I like it when the thrift stores put out all the out-of-style/weird clothing for the month.
