In talking most beloved, though, it still seems very strange for them to rank above TWICE and Wonder Girls. Tbh, I could maybe see an argument for above KARA but the others?

But it is interesting comparing to the bg list that the gg one is so affected by recency bias more so than the bg one.

People may have just split it across the generations since when you separate the list into 2nd Generation, 3rd Generation and 4th Generation then the order is pretty similar to the order you'd list the groups in and that may have got NewJeans to the top based on people viewing them as the biggest girl group from 4th Generation while also hurting others on the list for being behind Girls' Generation and Blackpink.
