I will share one of my favorites, Sauerbraten! It's a pot roast of marinated meat and looks like this

we have a chili dish that's really famous in our area (I can't share the name of it bc it's got our city in the name lol).

In fact, our local chili chain was my first exposure to local food when I moved up here, so it's got a special place in my heart (and stomach lol)!

These are some dishes that are known in my state. This includes Italian Hot Dogs, Disco Fries, and Taylor Ham + Egg + Cheese Sandwich (don't judge me on this one because of famous debate on what this product is called depending where you live in the state )

My region of the US considers this a "salad." Fun fact: one time I brought to a potluck what normal people would consider a salad (a Caesar salad, to be precise) and the disappointment from everyone else was palpable.
