Do other forums work like KPS? (1 Viewer)

So like do other forums kpop and general do the ship stuff uotm hym etc or are we just weird and unique for this

I have seen others do ships, but they don’t have wrecks. HYM seems to be unique to us but other forums have recently adopted things similar to UOTM.

UOTM definitely isn't unique to us, bc on the BSB fanclub forums, they have what's called "Soldier of the Month" (a "soldier" is one of the BSB Army, so it's basically a BSB fan), but you don't just get voted on. You have to answer a specific question, and the admins decide between those; whomever has the best response is then crowned SOTM.

HYM probably is unique to us. The BSB forums and the other one I go on for name nerds doesn't have that bc the BSB forums are all about BSB and nobody else and the admin of the name nerds forums is an older guy who likes the old-fashioned way of running forums.

I actually haven't seen the ship system on any other forums, and I've been a forums user for literal decades.

AKP adopted a ship system long after we did here and I think Kprofiles might have a similar function too.

AKP adopted a ship system long after we did here and I think Kprofiles might have a similar function too.

Akp actually had a ship system before KS even existed, we also adopted it as it was something users here wanted. Wrecks and HYM were thought of by staff members here, but there’s no guarantee that no other forum either adopted them as well or though of them independently and implemented them also.

I don't use any other K-Pop forums, so I wouldn't know in that regard, but the other forums I use are more barebones
