With me they do all the time

It sucks because it makes me think I can't be who I want.

But they'll see some day

Well, two "friends" were used to me being all happy and supportive and momlike all the time. So when I broke down, they changed their attitude with me.

I also didn't feel like I couldn't be the real me around them



I yeeted them out of my contacts and social media in the end

And that felt good, because I didn't have to act like I'm fine all the time without being scared that I would lose people

I could understand how the dynamic would change, but it should change to them being more supportive and thoughtful of your needs, good thing you ended that friendships...aish some people are just so rude

It took me a long time to drop them tho, because I always thought it was my fault somehow. But I found out it's not. Lots of other details I wont be putting online lol

I used to find that kinda stuff super annoying when I was in school... you don't even really know your own character at that age so who is anybody else to tell you about your own personality???

since i try to make my character the best i can, while people don't tend to complain, i think my in character is preferable to my out of character in a sense
