Head mates ??? (1 Viewer)

Do any of y'all have head mates? I googled what some questions for my experience because I asked my friend if they saw the world the same as me / felt the same way as me, and I came across the word headmates
( Also I am not diagnosed with DID and I'm not trying to be rude and claim something I'm not. Though my experience IS real and I DO call them head mates so please understand I am not baiting or whatever )
If you do, I was wondering what I could do to zone them out...?

I do not but I did have a very loud constantly chatty voice in my head until I went to psychiatry, got diagnosed with audhd, and got on Strattera. The voice in my head is now both quieter and less distractable. Basically I'm saying go see a specialist it's really not as scary as it sounds + nowadays you could search for people who specialize in did

I don't know if I have shared, but my mother won't let me. I haven't told her about my head mates, because I don't want her to think I'm crazy. I can't stop it though

Well that complicates things :/ I'm not great at talking but you're always welcome to vent to me? It might help

That's sweet of you! I'm used to being the one my friends vent to and I'm in a pretty good mental state for once but it's up to you ^^
