You peaked my interest now with that book of yours that states all these historic events
Also crazy fact how the construction of the forbidden city happened roughly just 25 years before Hangul officially existed.

It’s a book specifically about history presented in map form. The maps have diagrams and facts included and such, and the book is so big that it ends up being a lot of facts as options to pick from.

That’s true that the timing for those two is pretty close. It makes me wonder if China shifting the seat of power north in any way indirectly affected the implementation of Hangul. It’s an interesting question.

since one is in China and the other Korea lol

The forbidden palace was part of moving the capital north to Beijing, closer to Korea. At the time Korea was a tributary state of China, so there was some relation between the countries. And while Korea wasn’t a part of China, Chinese politics played a big role in Korea. Hence why Hangul was was made for the poor and uneducated, because naturally the rich and educated Koreans would continue to use Chinese characters.

Apparently I can’t read a closer one is 1353 BC- Akhenaten moves Egypt's capital from Thebes to a new site called Akhenaten as part of the monotheistic Egyptian religious revolution.

It doesn't really have a connection, well apart from that King Sejong basically used Chinese as a base to create the Hangul language for all Koreans in 1446. But I just thought it was a pretty neat fact that The Forbidden City constructions and the the invention of Hangul was only 25 years apart.

To put it shortly, and in my messy summary:

The French Revolution started with the Storming of the Bastille when peasants stormed the Bastille, which was an old prison at the time. The peasants were hungry because of soaring bread prices, a loaf of bread could cost up to a months wages! Meanwhile the nobility and the king were in Versailles, spending money and living their luxurious life. So understandably the peasants were really pissed, and when they got to the Bastille they brutally murdered the guards inside and stuck their heads on pikes, paraded them around. The next three years were a hot mess of political control, King Louis XVI Flight to Varennes, as Ahsoka mentioned, and then later his execution, and then his wife's: Queen Marie Antoinette. A bit after his execution Robespierre established the Committee of Public Safety which basically was a murder machine that killed anybody who rejected or disagreed with revolutionary ideals. Finally, Robespierre was killed and then the Directory took over... and then Napoleon took over the Directory during the Coup of 18 Brumaire!

Guess AP Euro really paid off...
