i admit i haven't watched most of these movies but i'm still rooting for a sinners sweep and for kpop demon hunters <3

(also hopefully f1 goes home empty handed because brad pitt is a piece of trash)

Emma Stone could give other actresses a chance and sit one awards season out rooting for Rose Byrne i think, she deserves her flowers at last

Ah, gotcha!! I agree!!

I just know some people do, very seriously, mean that it's "not fair" for someone to be too good and get too many nominations. Someone being really good and winning every time they're good doesn't bother me. It's the legacy "fine, because you've been around forever" wins that are more side-eye worthy imo.

i haven't seen obaa yet as the plot isn't really up my alley but i will watch it just to understand the hype behind it

I never knew about this, like I don't think the news here even covered this. I just looked it up and it seems he was also pretty much an alcoholic back in 2016. I personally always viewed him as a normal guy, but then again can you really tell how an actor is when it's basically their job to play someone else infront of a camera...I atleast hope he has changed and has since then worked on himself and the damage he did to those involved.

Gotta catch up on the nominees but I'm rooting for Marty Supreme to at least get an award that isn't Timothee Chalamet, maybe best editing cause Josh Sadfie did all that by himself, very impressive.
Also watch people argue about whether Chalamet or Jordan is a better actor then Wagner Moura gets the award lmao
