I do actually! I have 3 to do, each one needs more complex features than the last so there'll be an order in which they'll be done

I tried to find a site to do flag quizzes on and learn all the flags for once but I didn't find any good ones they had too many at once or not all of them so my plan to make a flag quiz game I didn't yet work on the planning and figuring what it will require but I think it will be easy, I'm pretty sure I have everything I need for it Its great cuz I can also use my own site to finally learn all the flags


My next idea is a plushie site! I am not sure if one exists currently thats similar to this but its a project to learn from anyway Its supposed be a really simple but cute themed site where you can give information about each of your plushies, such as how old it is, where you got it, its names/nicknames, etc and organize them, someone might have a lot of cinnamoroll plushies or a bunch from a single brand and they could section them but also view all of them together I also wanted to make a wash cycle tracker where you just input when a plushie last had a wash and when it needs to be washed next and it will remind you on that day!I have some other features and ideas too and It does well as is but if I can, I would like to add social features, smth thats a bit of a mix between forum-style and tumblr of course I'll make it very pretty and functional


My third idea is the one I wanna put the most effort into and will need the most work and knowledge to handle I used to be on a site Quotev, its mostly a quiz and fanfic site but it also had social features and it was the first place I joined on the internet in 2021 and I stayed till 2024 when they removed the social features as there was too much hate and bullying going onMost of my friends left to other sites and while there are still plenty active users, interacting is harder so making any friends is difficult and discouraged I miss how it was so my idea is something similar to Q but a lot more modern with better features and more you can do on it + re-designs on systems that were...not the best on Q I wanna make a site that can be a place for making friends, having fun and for people to grow up on feeling like its a home just as I did on Q I wanna put my all into that one, in every aspect of it, from the Planning and Designing to the Coding and Features, I wanna make the dream come true

I currently only know Frontend which is what you can see and interact with on a site and am using other sites to handle backend like collecting user info or authenticating them/storing uploaded pics

I need to learn backend myself as there's SO MUCH to handle on a real site and while I'm learning it, I could practice it on the plushie site before I then do it again for the last site where's there way more to handle in the backend


It will be a year or more unfortunately before the Q-redesign thing will be fully formed but its alright, big dreams take time

so Flag Quiz sounds fun! It's always great to work on something you have self interest in!

It is And its great that I can actually make use of it myself!

It definitely is I'll have to learn a lot before I can do it but it doesn't have to have every single thing ready on the first day you can do all the important features first and then keep adding more over time, its like getting the house built first and then you can start furnishing and adjusting it after

yeah makes sense, better to start with 2-3 features that work really well and then build from there

Yup! I have been procrastinating on coding for the HYM thread and KPS in general I have to get back to my routine tomorrow

I don't like my attention these days its pretty wack. before I WANTED to focus but mentally had no energy for it, now I CAN focus and want to focus but can't focus on multiple things If I start on coding and keep myself from going onto other sites, I can stay in a 'mental zone' and be focused on that all day but if I end up going to kps or youtube, I will now be in the mental zone for THESE things and its hard to pull my focus back to coding I find it easier to reply on the laptop but only get to be on it for coding so coming onto kps has to be done in the same time which works out badly because my focus is dragged away and i have to spend a lot of time getting it back

aww I see.. that sucks, but guess you have to stay focused then on one thing! I try to limit my time on KPS too by not making more then 3 threads anymore per day.. so my notifications don't jump up more than 50-60 per day usually and I can manage them

I have to start the day on coding, nothing else, its tough

I would not call 50-60 notifs a day usual I only get 20 and if I'm lucky, I will have 30
