Has the Winter Olympics made you want to do any sport? (1 Viewer)

It’s made me want to try figure skating again. Since the age of 8 I’ve skated exactly once (a couple years ago) and was still struggling just moving forward properly, so I’d need a lot of work to be able to do anything cool. But watching figure skating makes me want to try it too

Curling. It looks so much fun to do with family. Get tha competitiveness running.

I have a friend who joined a curling league after the last winter Olympics! You could be like him!

On the contrary, it's made me want to stay far away from anything involving ice. All those injuries

Skiing, it looks fun

Step 1 figure out how to not break an ankle on ice. I
'll look into places that have curling for the casual beginner.

Curling since it has an interesting playstyle

Figure skating I know the basics , and I have balance as someone who did ballet and pointe, I was just too scared to get hurt last time I went

[LoveforYe_na]

I mostly wanna learn because of the spins and jumps

Even as a child when i saw figure skating on tv i thought it was so cool and fun looking. My dad didnt let me join figure skating classes because ,using his words, it was what women and gays do.

[mysteric]

nope
did skating, skiing, some curling as a kid and while I got to some tricks, not for me

Skating for sure

[HelloGoodbyeDie]

Skating for sure

balance is needed
which I do not possess

[eclipsoul]

not really because i know i'm too poor for that equipment lmao but curling seems really fun! especially since it's one of the few sports there that doesn't look like you can literally die doing it
