This was an earlier donut machine made in 1920 that automated the process or making donuts. It formed donuts, dropped them in oil, turned them over, and remove them.

Because it could do so many of the tasks needed for a donut by itself. Before either people would do all the steps or they might some mechanism for single steps, but there certainly wasn’t any machine that could do most of the steps on its own like people could

It’s nothing like ai because it didn’t have any ability to learn and improve its functioning. It’s more like an app that lets you take a photo, make your own edits to it, and send it to print because that has multiple functionalities made into one app.
