I still think the original series + movie is one of if not the greatest anime of all-time but the reboot just deviated too much for me to get excited about this. I hope it's good though.

i'm less familiar with eva but yoko taro is batshit insane enough looking at the convolution that is the drakenier series and the themes there that i feel like it could work
