I actually watched very little tv. Occasionally I’d watch a movie, or a couple tv shows, or watch things like The Olympics. But those were rare occasions. As a really little kid I guess I watched more with my siblings, but not a lot as I got older

Chinese new year Spring festival gala, Olympics, local news, Pirated CDs (return of the condor heroes, journey to the west, Justice Pao, NIrvana in fire)

nevertheless I never got to get around to things like cartoon network or nickelodeon kids so I was always clueless when people in class were talking about TV.

for my entire lifetime, the tv has been on almost 24/7. every polish gameshow known to man, long-running tv shows, embarrassing breakfast programmes... i've seen it all and tbh i'm so glad i grew up like this because i still love watching tv and also because a lot of things i grew up on are basically lost media nowadays so i have the privilege of seeing them as they aired. if there was no tv in my house idk what i'd even be doing lmao probably just sitting in silence? sounds like a nightmare

I was homeschooled for all of elementary and allowed to watch TV alongside my work if it was educational (Animal Planet or PBS). It made me the nerd I am today

Probably a lot but most of the time it was science channel and discover... back when they actually showed shows that tought stuff. And a lot of star trek.

I used to always stay up to watch South park at night and used to watch cartoons till Rugrats came on then in my teens I used to love watching mtv during school holidays

Now there's is YouTube 🤣 so I very rarely watch TV now

Not much, at least not in the early years. We only had 1 cartoon channel (out if 5 operating channels). Eventually TV became a household name for certain programs like Jeopardy. Now it’s my family’s favourite pastime

until i turned 12 i didnt watch tv almost never. Only mtv when my parents werent looking
then we got all disney channels and cartoon network and nickelodeon and i was glued to those from 12 to 15 and then i stopped.
these days i dont even remember when was the last time i turned on my tv

I barely watch normal tv unless it’s a k drama I’m finishing, other than that I’m watching kpop content on yt
