I wonder how much Yoona still remembers of her Spanish lessons she took in school. It was one of her brag rights and talents when they debuted lol. The girl who took Spanish lessons in school. In their debut days they did a Spanish video for fun on YT with an actual Latino who hosted it and she did really well and was able to even pronounce everything perfectly. So I think I mixed up the one I remember with what I told you lol. Because the one I remember was without a visible host they were basically behind the camera, and the one with a boy was just the typical Korean variety show but then with a guy who is a Latino

That sounds very good, especially Haewons. Though I'm not Spanish but I've been "learning" Spanish for the past 3years and to a non native speaker it sounds great

ehhh I'm really surprised by your statements, as far as I know they are currently all actively learning spanish, which makes sense given how strongly they got involved in Latin America now.

You are down playing it, it's not the same when it's not your native language and there are probably close to zero kpop idols who could give a speech like that in spanish, so it is special!

I have no idea if they are learning Spanish, at this point it would make more sense they learn Portuguese lol. Since because of that Pabblo guy they become quite the talk in Brazil.

I have to downplay it because people baby idols too much while they are all hardworking people. Haewon probably took her time to memorize perfectly how to pronounce it, but I think she did look at a telepompter tho. I just don't like when I see articles or people compliment one person in a group while someone else of the group could also do it, it's just leaders are expected to do these kind of things. They always take the lead and will hold speechess. Even in Korea Haewon had to lead the acceptance speech of their trophies etc.
