I downloaded Ibis Paint X today!!! (1 Viewer)

I previously used Sketchbook for digital art which I didn't realise was extremely sucky

I thought Ibis Paint X was not free so i never tried it but found out its a freemium model so I downloaded it and i LOVE THE BRUSHES AND THE MANY MANY MORE OPTIONS AND THAT I CAN HOARD AND HOARD ALL THE PRETTY BRUSHES FROM PINTEREST

tho I now learned that you can only enjoy 5 brushes and never any more unless you have premium which truly utterly sucks cuz there are so many lovely brushes out there I'm so getting an anime hair brush tho


@Moguri I believe a cat should be drawn first to bring good fortune to all future projects, dont you?

there should be an option to watch an ad that allows you to use premium brushes for a few hours ^o^ if you try to use premium brushes you'll get this screen:

is this the same as custom brushes made by others? where you have to scan a qr code to use? It seemed pretty strict that you could only own 5 but does it let you watch an ad and use?

yup, i believe so! i have more than 5, although i'm not using the latest app version so it's possible it might be different now (ignore the names of the brushes, i don't bother changing them after importing )

well it says the update was in march 2025? and that brushes before the update can still load and not count towards the limit so maybe if you are not updated past that date, you wont be blocked from downloading more brushes?
